Parenting plans and the start of the new school year

One of many issues for Florida parents this time of year is the taking care of their child's education. With the start of the new school year, children are often enrolled in new schools and have differing schedules than during the prior school year.

What courts would like to see concerning children and divorce

For an attorney, the most important consideration in family law disputes is what benefits the children. Though disagreements do exist between the two parents as to what this could be, too many circumstances occur where what was best for the children was not even considered - as is evidenced by the number of calls made every year by boys and girls to the Florida's Department of Children.

High conflict divorce and the welfare of the children

Not surprisingly, a high conflict divorce can be devastating for children. Often such children are stuck in the middle between couples and put in a position where they are asked to take sides. Too often, such young children at the center of a child custody dispute blame themselves for the friction between the two parents.
